Total Construction Plan Review Services
CWA offers complete and total Construction Plan Review services performed by skilled and experienced plan reviewers in all code areas including commercial and residential building codes, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing codes (MEP), as well as fire suppression codes.
Our plan reviewers are registered by the State of Michigan and continuously meet all continuing education requirements.
Commercial plan review services are performed remotely at our Ann Arbor office with plans submitted in digital format over secure servers. Residential plans are reviewed both on-site at our municipal client offices, as well as at our Ann Arbor office when necessary.
Our client Building Officials have access to our plan review tracking system with real-time status updates showing the progression of each project. Plan reviews are delivered using our proprietary reporting format designed for effective comprehension by design professionals and Building Officials.
During the review process, our plan reviewers can coordinate communication through our client Building Officials, or directly with the design professional responsible for code compliance. We are efficient, flexible and adaptable to meet our clients’ needs and preferences.
Here are just a few examples of the thousands of buildings for which CWA has performed plan review services for municipal clients over the past few decades showing the use and occupancy categories of the Michigan Building Code. The range of buildings encompass those where people live, work, gather, learn, shop and visit each day.
